The State Thespian Officers are high school leaders who serve as liaisons between student members and the Chapter Executive Board. They go through a rigorous application process each winter prior to the Indiana State Conference. Duties include but are not limited to:
Leading sessions at the Leadership Retreat
Set the theme for the State Conference
Serve as emcees for the Regional and State Conference

The Junior State Thespian Officers are middle school leaders who serve as growing leaders and hosts for the Junior Thespian Regionals and the Junior Thespian One-Act State Finals. They go through a separate application process each winter prior to the Indiana State Conference.
